Aerial Rope

Corde lisse — the bold, raw cousin of aerial silks. Climbing, wrapping and dynamic drops on a single rope.

About Aerial Rope

Aerial rope (corde lisse) uses a single thick rope instead of two pieces of fabric. The grip is grippier, the drops are dramatic, and the strength gains are real. Taught by our rope and creative movement specialist Nicki Miller, who brings creative movement and corde lisse expertise to our advanced apparatus offerings.

Recommended for students with prior aerial experience or strong conditioning. Rope rewards strength, courage and patience — and offers some of the most striking shapes and dynamic drops in the aerial vocabulary.

What to wear

Long leggings or pants are recommended (rope can be rough on bare skin), plus a fitted top covering the armpits. Bare feet or grip socks.

Booking FAQ

How booking Aerial Rope works

How do I book a class?

Use the live widget above (or open it in a new tab). Create a free fitDEGREE account, pick a Aerial Rope class on the date you want, and check out. You'll get an email confirmation immediately.

Which class should I pick?

New to Aerial Rope? Start with the lowest level offered (Beginner or Level 1). If you have prior experience, check the class description for prerequisites — or contact us and we'll point you to the right fit.

The widget shows no availability — what now?

That usually means the next week's schedule hasn't been released yet, or the class you want is full. Open the booking site in a new tab to view a wider date range and join the waitlist — we release spots regularly.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes — cancel up to 12 hours before class through your fitDEGREE account for a full credit back. Late cancels and no-shows forfeit the class.

Do I need a package or can I drop in?

Both work. Single drop-ins are available, and class packs / memberships save money if you plan to come regularly. See our pricing page for current options.

Still stuck?

Email or text us through the contact page and we'll book you in manually. We're happy to help first-timers get set up.
